The Clinic (2010)

killerpossum replied to your post: Finally finished watching The Clinic.

SHOULD I WATCH IT? GIVE ME A REVIEW.

It was wonderful. First of all, Tabrett (lead actrus~) is such an amazing actress and she’s so beautiful and I love seeing her on screen, so that added to my loving it, but still.

Ugh, it was just.. idk, I’ve never been a thriller movie type, or anything horror related (spn disregarded), but this was, I guess original? I’m sure there have been movies like this in the past, but there’s something about the plot that makes you wonder and think that it could be real, that it could be going on somewhere and we wouldn’t even know (which is funny because I’m just now reading this is based on true events.. yay for it doing what it’s supposed to?). As opposed to like, The Exorcist and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which are (supposedly) based on true events but you still feel somewhat detached. Lol that made sense. ~~

It had a wonderful plot line that all tied together by the end of the movie and as someone who usually figures things out, I didn’t expect the ~*plot twist*~ that it had, which actually made the whole movie even more amazing than it already was. What happens to the women is just heartbreaking, and half the time it was all I could do to keep from crying because it was hard to even just watch what they’re going through, as a group and as individuals.

I DON’T KNOW, IT WASN’T THE GREATEST MOVIE I’VE EVER SEEN BUT I WAS BAWLING BY THE END OF IT AND I WANTED TO WATCH AGAIN AND I JUST WANTED TO HUG MOST OF THE CHARACTERS. Everyone in it was at least a decent actor/actress, so it was all very believable and.. fucking damnit.
